The Nike Air Force 1 Low “West Indies” is the modern version of the special colorway that honors New York City’s “West Indian Day Parade.” One of four “West Indies” Air Force 1s released by Nike from 2002 to 2005 in celebration of NYC’s West Indian Day Parade held annually in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, this yellow-based version that was brought back in 2023 is nearly identical to the original release from 2002. A white leather upper gives way to contrasting University Gold accenting on the inner lining, on the leather heel tab with yellow “Nike Air Force 1” branding, on the tongue tag with yellow “West Indies” detailing, and on the rubber outsole.
