The Nike Kobe 8 Protro “Mambacita 2024” is a colorway of Kobe Bryant’s eighth signature shoe with Nike Basketball that pays homage to his late daughter, Gigi Bryant. The “Mambacita” theme is inspired by the late basketball player’s daughter, and has appeared on several Nike Kobe models, including the Nike Kobe Protro 4 and 6. On the Nike Kobe Protro 8, the colorway features an all-over butterfly print on the White engineered mesh upper. An embroidered Metallic Gold Swoosh can be found on the sides, while “Gigi” and “2,” her basketball jersey number, appear on the back of the left and right heel, respectively. Kobe’s signature “Sheath” logo is embroidered on the tongue in Metallic Gold.
