The Nike Dunk Low “Clark Atlanta University” is a special colorway of the retro basketball shoe that honors the college famous for its academics and athletics. Clark Atlanta University is an HBCU founded in Atlanta, Georgia, and the inspiration for this Dunk Low. The colorway was co-designed by Heather Haynes, a Yardrunners 1.0 alum and the daughter of two HBCU alums who attended Clark Atlanta University. The Dunk features Clark Atlanta University’s grey, black, and red colors with a grey leather base with black leather overlays and a red leather Swoosh. The laces are printed with the school’s motto, “Find a Way or Make One” and its panther logo appears on the tongue tag. “1988” branding on the heel is a reference to the year when Clark College merged with Atlanta University to form Clark Atlanta University.
