The Nike Air Max Pre-Day “Black” is a contemporary sneaker with a design informed by retro running shoe details. The Air Max Pre-Day’s product name is derived from the late Steve Prefontaine, a long distance runner sponsored by Nike in the 1970s. The comfortable shoe looks similar to classic Nike running shoes like the Waffle Racer as well as modern designs. The shoe’s shadowy appearance includes a black base with light grey suede panels on the toe, forefoot, and heel. A black synthetic Swoosh is found on either side.
