The Nike Air Max 1 “Hangul Day” is a special colorway of the retro running shoe inspired by the invention of the Korean alphabet system. Originally released exclusively in Asia before receiving a global release soon thereafter, the “Hangul Day” Air Max 1 modifies the classic sneaker’s design with a minimalistic vibe with mismatched panels. Neutral beige hues are matched with pastel-colored tones across the shoe’s upper. A Jeweled Swoosh is found on both sides of the shoe. On the heel, a blue-tinted plastic heel cover protects the back of the shoe and features dual “Nike Air” and “ ” branding, which translates from Korean to “Nike” in English.
