The Nike Air Griffey Max “Aqua” is a colorway of Ken Griffey Jr.’s former signature shoe that is loosely inspired by the Baseball Hall of Famer’s time with the Seattle Mariners. The “Aqua” or “Aquamarine” was released in May 2022, and is one of several colorways of the retro performance shoe to be released after its 25-year anniversary, which occurred in 2021. A black Swoosh logo appears on the forefoot of the white leather upper. Aqua-colored synthetic nubuck is found along the eyelets and on the mudguard.
