Nike ACG Air Mowabb OG Rattan Birch 2021 Mens

The Nike ACG Air Mowabb OG “Rattan Birch 2021” is a modern reissue of the classic outdoors sneaker designed by Tinker Hatfield in 1991. Celebrating the Air Mowabb OG’s 30th anniversary, the “Rattan Birch” is an original colorway of the shoe that was re-released in September 2021. Several modifications were made to the modern version of the “Rittan Birch,” including a Huarache tongue tag and dual pull tabs for easy on/off access. Moreover, Nike touts the modern “Rattan Birch’s” stretchier collar and softer foam midsole as modern enhancements. Design wise, much of the shoe retains its original look, including a molded heel counter and a neoprene inner bootie. Perforations on either side of the beige mid-panel provide airflow to the wearer’s foot. Old school “ACG” branding is embroidered on the collar. An embroidered mini Swoosh is also added to the toe on the 2021 re-release. Underfoot, a speckled midsole and lugged rubber outsole with ‘90s-style “Air Mowabb” complete the design.
