The Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 610 “Lil’ Desert” is a collaboration between the acclaimed footwear designer and New Balance on the retro-modern sneaker. Joe Freshgoods is one of the most in-demand collaborators in sneaker culture, a title he secured when he debuted his first New Balance collaboration, the New Balance 992 “No Emotions Are Emotions” in 2020. Here, the Chicago native continues his partnership with the Boston footwear company on the New Balance 610. The “Lil’ Desert” gives the 610 silhouette a rugged makeover with an orange and black mesh base that’s paired with tan suede overlays. The shoe is lined with a water-resistant GORE-TEX membrane.
