The 550 was unearthed by Aime Leon Dore, the New York based clothing brand, back in 2020, and has since become one of New Balance’s most desirable sneakers, and for good reason. The 550’s throwback design is timeless in every way possible. Here, the “Burgundy/Cyan” features a white perforated leather construction. A contrasting burgundy leather overlay appears on the burgundy nylon collar. Additional burgundy accenting comes into play on the “N” branding with Cyan-colored trim on the sides and the “New Balance 550” details on the tongue.
