The Doernbecher x Air Jordan 3 “Hugo” is a special colorway released as part of Nike’s Doernbecher Freestyle collection with Doernbecher Children’s Hospital in 2023. The Jordan 3 “Doernbecher” is designed by Hugo Covarrubias Molina, and is inspired by his favorite football team, the NFL’s Seattle Seahawks. The team’s colors are found on the design, giving the sneaker an eye-catching appearance. Specifically, the upper features a dark navy leather base and grey elephant print overlays. A unique drip pattern in a neon green hue with sparkles appears throughout the design. Hugo’s own signature branding can be found on the translucent heel counter, along with a Jumpman and Hugo’s nickname, “Juice.” Other details include glow-in-the-dark laces, and a green-tinted translucent outsole with the phrase “It’s OK to be different.” A gold-plated hangtag completes the look.
