The Air Jordan 7 “Sapphire” is an April 2022 release of Michael Jordan’s retro basketball shoe in a colorway that honors its 30th anniversary by remixing its classic design. The Jordan 7 was originally released with an all-leather upper back in 1991, and subsequent releases of the shoe have mostly had leather uppers, as well, save for this futuristic “Sapphire” colorway. Here, the design incorporates mesh panels on the mid-panel and ankle above an orange and purple underlay. Tan leather is found on the rest of the shoe’s upper.
