Jordan Air Jordan 6 Retro GS Carmine Grade School

The Air Jordan 6 GS “Carmine 2021” is the youth sizing of an original colorway of Michael Jordan’s sixth signature shoe that was re-released by Jordan Brand in 2021. This version of the “Carmine” brings back the original “Nike Air” branding on the back of the shoe for the first time since the colorway’s debut all the way back in 1991. Subsequent “Carmine” releases in 2008 as part of the “Countdown Pack” and in 2014 featured a Jumpman on the heel, not the original “Nike Air” branding. The rest of the shoe retains the correct height and panel shapes as the inaugural release. White leather overlays on the forefoot, mid-panel, and eyelets contrast the red synthetic nubuck panels. Perforations on either side of the shoe and collar are true to the original design of the Air Jordan 6. A black liner and neoprene lace shroud with black Jumpman embroidery add to the model’s distinct styling. The previously mentioned “Nike Air” detailing on the heel sits beneath a spoiler-style heel tab to complete the look. Release date: February 13, 2021. Carmine
