Jordan Air Jordan 5 GS Green Bean 2022 Grade School

The Air Jordan 5 GS “Green Bean” is the youth sizing of the colorway of the retro basketball shoe with a reflective finish that was first released in 2006. This May 2022 version of the Jordan 5 GS “Green Bean” is nearly identical to the original version of the sneaker from ‘06. The shoe’s grey synthetic upper is treated with a reflective finish that is supposedly inspired by the original sketch of the Jordan 5 by Tinker Hatfield. According to Nike, Hatfield originally designed the Air Jordan 5 with a fully reflective upper, but ultimately scrapped the idea prior to the shoe’s production in 1990. As for the rest of the modern “Green Bean’s” design, bright green accents appear on the interior lining, on the sharktooth detailing on the midsole, and on the embroidered Jumpman on the silver reflective tongue and on the heel.
