The Air Jordan 2 GS “Italy” is the youth sizing of Michael Jordan’s second signature shoe inspired by its Italian-made roots. The original Air Jordan 2 from 1987 was manufactured in Italy and is considered to be the first “Luxury” basketball sneaker. The “Italy” AKA “Origins” Air Jordan 2 is similar to the design of the model’s original “White/Red” colorway, but with added green detailing to represent the colors of the Italian flag. Specifically, the upper is designed with a white leather construction with tonal textured leather overlays. Contrasting Fire Red detailing lines the overlays, heel counter, and interior lining.
