The Air Jordan 1 Low "University Blue" is a colorway of the retro basketball shoe that shows love to the North Carolina Tar Heels basketball team. The “University Blue” Jordan 1 Low is not affiliated with the University of North Carolina or its athletic department, but it nonetheless draws favorably from Michael Jordan’s alma mater’s familiar team colors. The shoe has University Blue leather on the perforated toe, collar, heel, and Swoosh. Contrasting black leather appears on the toe cap, forefoot, and mid-panel. A black “Wings” logo can be seen on the heel and a black Jumpman is located on the tongue. Underfoot, the white rubber midsole is paired with a University Blue rubber outsole.
