The Ronnie Fieg x ASICS Gel-Kayano 12.1 “Cream” is a collaboration by the Kith founder and ASICS on a shoe that blends the ASICS Gel-Kayano 12 and ASICS Gel-Nimbus 17. The ASICS Gel-Kayano 12.1 by Fieg merges the Gel-Kayano 12’s upper with the Gel-Nimbus 17’s outsole to create a new-yet-familiar design. On the “Cream” colorway, the shoe features a Cream open-mesh construction with flashy Metallic Silver synthetic leather overlays and Cream ASICS “tiger” stripes. “Gel-Kayano 12.1” branding appears on the lateral side of the heel in orange text. The inner lining is finished in blue, while white, blue, and orange speckled laces pop against the shoe’s neutral-colored base.
